My week according to Instagram

Ugh, I have been so terrible about keeping up with this blog so far. I will say that my excuse for now was another whirlwind week/end. Here's and "Insta" recap of what I've been up to lately.
Andy planned a surprise trip to Columbus, to spend the day at Cosi. Have any of you ever been to Cosi before? It's always been one of my favorites. I am way too excited, as a nineteen-year old that is, for the new exhibit that is currently being installed. The day also included dinner at The Spaghetti Warehouse, thrifting, and UDF sundaes. He's really good at coming up with outings like these.

While I am completely thrilled about having a boyfriend so giving, one thing I did not want was the cold Andy passed along to me. It was less than ideal. However, after a few boxes of tissues and dozens of Halls cough drops, I felt well enough to hit up a few local favorites. We went to the Mansfield Art Center and a couple other shops downtown. Main Street Books delivered quite possibly the best analysis of "Lolita" I've ever seen. Swoon.

The highlight of this week by far was seeing  Bad Books in Columbus with a couple of dear friends. WOW. Seriously, I was floored with their performance. Kevin Devine and Andy Hull together are complete perfection. And, I am totally drooling over one of the opening bands, The Front Bottoms. Get acquainted with them if you haven't done so already.

Alas, the rest of the weekend was spent relaxing with too much tea and Tate Landon. I am going through serious American Horror Story withdrawals. Season three cannot get here quick enough for me. Thanks for playing catch-up with me, bloggers. I am really going to try and buckle down these next few weeks to bring some DIY projects and recipes. Maybe even a picture or two that was taken with an actual camera, jeesh.
Yours truly,
Heather.

"My thoughts drift to you..."

Without sounding like too much of a dork, I'd like to dedicate this post to my lovely boyfriend, Andy. I've been melting over some favorite pictures of the two of us all day, thinking about how lucky I am to have someone so creative, intelligent, caring, hilarious, and supportive in my life. He really is the cat's pajamas, you guys. I'm not the most expressive person, but I lurve you, dear. Happy Valentine's Day, bloggers! I hope you all spent the day with loved ones; family, friends, or your better halves.
Until next time,
Heather.
