Style Icon: Suzy Bishop

Suzy Bishop

(Suzy Bishop by heatherrrnicole featuring a sleeve shift dress)
I don't think I need to further explain my love for Wes Anderson, and everyone of his films. And, of course, Moonrise Kingdom is no exception. The story follows a couple of star-crossed lovers who happen to be twelve years-old. We get to know Suzy Bishop and Sam Shakusky as they communicate through letters, and eventually plot an escape to their own little paradise. The two battle parents, boy scouts, and a nasty storm all in the name of being together. The only thing dreamier than their preteen love is Suzy's style. Peter pan collars, oxfords, berets, and some killer insect earrings. At only twelve, the New Penzance resident is learned in French music and books. Not to mention, better at applying eyeliners than most adults I know. This movie will have you hoping that you too were "a very troubled child".
