Here are a few snapshots from mine and Andy's walk through a cute and quaint park in our area. I was totally swooning over the community garden; I love the idea of using the honor system with taking just what you need and leaving the rest. They had everything from cilantro and kale to cabbage and cucumbers. Seeing projects like these pop up around our town is refreshing, seeing as though there isn't really a sense of "community", in the traditional sense, here. Andy and I are eagerly waiting for the tomatoes to ripen so we can take a few home for a tart! Yeah, I'm only nineteen and gardens excite me. The simple things and such.
